Shield AI is hiring a Staff Product Marketing Manager to lead messaging and positioning for the V-BAT aircraft. You will translate complex capabilities into clear, mission-driven narratives for customers, policymakers, and industry leaders.

You’ll own messaging across missions and markets, develop marketing assets, and partner with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to bring new capabilities to market with consistent messaging.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in military aviation or product marketing/sales in aerospace/defense/advanced tech.
• Strong understanding of aircraft systems, autonomy, ISR-T missions.
• Experience creating high-impact sales enablement and product marketing assets.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration to influence Product, Engineering, and GTM teams.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills across formats and audiences.

Job Description:

Shield AI is seeking a Staff Product Marketing Manager to lead messaging and positioning for its V-BAT aircraft. This role will translate complex aircraft and autonomy capabilities into clear, mission-driven narratives that differentiate V-BAT, equip our go-to-market teams, and build understanding among customers, policymakers, and industry leaders.

What you'll do:

• Own messaging and positioning for V-BAT across missions, customer segments, and global markets.
• Translate aircraft and autonomy capabilities into differentiated, mission-driven value propositions.
• Develop core product marketing assets, including sales decks, product briefs, launch materials, and campaign content.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to bring new capabilities to market with clear, consistent messaging.
• Support market and competitive analysis, translating insights into differentiated positioning and actionable recommendations for GTM teams.
• Enable GTM teams with the messaging, content, and tools needed to articulate V-BAT's value across technical and operational audiences.
• Develop thought leadership, including articles, op-eds, and blogs, that advances Shield AI's perspective on V-BAT, relevant missions, and operational concepts.
• Partner with leading think tanks and policy organizations to elevate Shield AI's products and perspectives.

Required qualifications:

• 6+ years of direct military aviation or experience in product marketing, product management, or sales within aerospace, defense, or advanced technology.
• Strong understanding of aircraft systems, autonomy, and intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and targeting (ISR-T) missions.
• Experience creating high-impact sales enablement and product marketing assets.
• Strong cross-functional collaborator with the ability to influence Product, Engineering, and GTM teams.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce original, persuasive content across multiple formats and audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.

$130,000 - $200,000 a year

Full-time regular employee offer package:

Pay within range listed + Bonus + Benefits + Equity

Temporary employee offer package:

Pay within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days of employment)
