Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Staff Product Manager, Growth to guide the Snapchat Search journey from relevance to ranking. You will own the ML-driven roadmap, align cross-functional teams, and shape how users discover people and content across Snapchat.

The role requires deep expertise in ML-based ranking and a track record of shipping growth-focused features at scale. This position is onsite in the US with a policy of 4+ days in the office.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent years of practical work experience.
• 8+ years of experience building and shipping products at a technology company; OR a Masters and 7+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the product and ML roadmap for Snapchat Search, including relevance, retrieval, and ranking.
• Grow Search as a destination for discovering people, creators, and content across Snapchat.
• Advance the retrieval and ranking systems behind Search, and build evaluation frameworks and quality bar for releases.
• Own how topical content is organized, ranked, and surfaced across Snapchat's web and in-app experiences.
• Improve how users find and connect with people, partnering with friending product and ranking teams.
• Define and track success metrics for Search and the measurement approach behind them.
• Design and run experiments, interpret results, and decide scaling or iteration based on impact.
• Partner with ML engineering, design, data science, user research, and trust/safety teams.
• Set strategy and communicate priorities and results to team and leadership.
