Job summary

Apptronik is seeking a senior Product Manager to own the physical AI model roadmap and lead integration of foundation models into Apollo's autonomy stack, balancing speed with reliability. You will translate customer needs into model requirements, collaborate with data teams, and align features with real-world value, working with design and engineering to deliver impactful robotics products.

This role requires 7+ years in product management within robotics, excellent communication, and comfort

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product management.
• Strong understanding of modern robot learning techniques including imitation learning, reinforcement learning.
• Demonstrated experience integrating, adapting, or fine-tuning models.
• Strong familiarity with running large neural networks on edge devices.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Decision making in uncertainty, prioritizing velocity over perfection.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the physical AI model roadmap: product vision, milestones, and release cycles for the core model stack.
• Drive integration and fine-tuning of foundation models into Apollo's autonomy stack; balance capability with safety.
• Translate customer use cases into model capability requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with data collection/evaluation teams on benchmarks and real-world evaluation.
• Own the data strategy feeding model development: what to collect, why, target tasks and quality.
• Align data tech/ops teams on collection techniques, tooling, and quality expectations.
• Define and prioritize use cases based on business impact and customer needs.
• Ensure product efforts align with real-world economic value for customers.
• Synthesize insights from user research, customer meetings, usage data, and sales feedback into strategy.
• Work with design and engineering teams to implement interactive features.
• Define features/enhancements and communicate requirements via docs/diagrams.
• Support product marketing initiatives and partnerships to accelerate adoption.
