Job summary

LiveKit is hiring a Staff Product Manager to lead the inference gateway for voice AI applications. You will own the strategy and roadmap for providing managed access to frontier models via a single developer integration, influencing architecture and pricing decisions across a small, high-leverage team.

You will select providers, expand multi-modal offerings, and own the developer-facing API and hosting infrastructure, while steering cost/margin optimization in a fast-moving landscape.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience owning developer-facing APIs or AI/ML platforms.
• Ability to navigate technical tradeoffs in model serving, latency, and routing.
• Proven ability to influence high-autonomy engineering teams through clarity.
• Comfort making decisions with imperfect information in a small team environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the LiveKit Inference product roadmap and vision.
• Select model providers and plan multi-modal expansion.
• Developer-facing API and model hosting infrastructure ownership.
• Define usage-based pricing and cost/margin optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product success.
