Job summary

We are data-driven, curious, open-minded, and adapt quickly to new information.This role follows a hybrid work schedule and you will report to the Manager of Product Data Science.

You will

• Work with cross functional teams to better understand and propose how Waymo should be expanding its operating territories
• Build models to suggest long term territory sizes and vehicle allocation plans
• Define and build the expansion related metrics to measure the effectiveness of our expansion plan
• Conduct deep dive analysis to identify areas for future improvement

You have

• At least 7 years of industry experience
• Coding skills in Python and SQL
• Strong communication and stakeholder & management skills
• Machine Learning and optimization algorithm experience
• Experience working with the product management and engineering teams
• Proficiency in data pipeline development

We prefer

• Experience with geospatial data
• Experience with causal inference and product A/B testing
• Travel requirements: Potential to travel to pre-launch Waymo territories (5-10%)

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
