Form Energy is hiring a Staff Process Engineer to lead scaling of our iron-air battery production. You will drive processing systems, collaborate across the organization, and ensure robust, scalable manufacturing aligned with product requirements and long-duration energy storage goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in fast-paced manufacturing or production development
• Mastery in materials processing with lamination or sintering focus
• Advanced statistics to guide process development (JMP/Minitab) and SQL data querying

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Design For Manufacturing for cathode performance and durability
• Identify processing windows to meet product and operational needs
• Support development of materials characterization and metrology methods
• Lead design, procurement, commissioning, and process development for new manufacturing lines
• Conduct root-cause and failure mode analyses with multiple teams
