Job summary

Inworld is seeking a Staff/Principal Platform Engineer to own end-to-end cloud infrastructure, deploying and scaling AI products with Terraform, ArgoCD, and related tooling. You will partner with engineers across the org to drive reliability and performance in real time.

This role focuses on scalable systems, AI-powered tooling, and a strong culture of responsibility. Candidates should be based in SF Bay Area or willing to relocate, with on-site work a few days per week.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of infrastructure-as-code experience.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and managing clusters.
• Experience creating Kustomize manifests/Helm charts.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for apps and infra.
• Deep knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (GCP/Azure/Oracle).
• Proficient in Golang, Python, or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Design systems for realtime, high-volume inference across GPUs and clouds.
• Improve engineering velocity with AI-powered tooling and workflows.
• Foster a you-build-it, you-run-it culture with robust monitoring and reliability.
• Manage pipelines for smooth code integration and deployment.
• Conduct root cause analysis and automate solutions to prevent recurrence.
