Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Staff Engineer, Systems Applications to join the Power Solutions group and translate customer requirements into practical power trees, reference designs, and platform strategies for industrial growth domains.

The successful candidate will engage with customers and field teams, define scalable architectures, perform design-in work, and contribute to cross‑functional execution across product lines, marketing, and applications.

Qualifications

• BSEE required; higher degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of power conversion and system design.
• Experience collaborating with customers and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support practical system-level power architectures for priority industrial applications.
• Translate customer requirements into power trees, solution concepts, and reference designs.
• Apply knowledge of switch-mode power conversion topologies, modelling, and EMI mitigation to define credible solutions.
• Use SPICE, MATLAB, or equivalent tools to analyse power-stage behaviour and thermal limits.
• Perform hands-on lab work to bring up, test, and refine power circuits.
