Job description

Come join US Sales supporting the Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) as a Staff Post-Sales Consultant for the Professional Services Organization. The Professional Services Team enables Accountants, Mid-Market Customers, and Partners to successfully embrace, use, and adopt Intuit Enterprise Suite (IES) through our strategic consulting, technology/product expertise, and implementation/integration strategies.

The Staff Post-Sales Consultant candidate will have a proven track record of creating delightful experiences for Accountants, Mid-Market Customers, and Partners. Understanding and leading change management, industry workflows and technology, accounting implications, embracing fast-moving environments, deep understanding of SAAS, and the nuances of migrating accounting platforms.

This role is not program or project management. This role partners with our PMO.

Responsibilities
Discover
  • Understand small and mid-market business needs and their accounting implications
  • Lead technical discussions with Accounting Firms, Partners, and Mid-Market businesses to brainstorm solutions and determine technical feasibility
  • Management Systems Integration / Integration Consulting - discovery, help in developing solution, vet & prioritize
Consult
  • Serve as a design and implementation consultant/expert to Accounting Firms and Mid-Market Businesses. Ability to talk tech, workflows, and consults with Partners at the C Level
  • Consult and help design technical integrations with our partners being mindful of the user experience
  • Work with the product owner, integration manager and partner to define the integration
Partner
  • Provide product and technical expertise through sales cycle, pre and post sales. Assists the sales team in assessing potential application of company products to meet partner and client needs
  • Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams including: business development, product management, platform engineering, partnership, and business units to drive tangible results
  • Develop credibility and strong partnership with partner technical teams and work together to architect joint solutions for common customers

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $160,000 - $216,000, Bay Area California $157,500 - $213,000, Southern California $146,000 - $198,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven 5+ years in the Accounting Industry and (SaaS) partner organizations working in a tech environment, complex solutions, SaaS offerings (PM, Consulting, Support, Etc.)
  • Strong technology and business experience, preferably working with mid-market businesses and clients
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical orientation with the ability to identify root cause of issues, develop recommendations and influence others, driving change.
  • Demonstrated communication & collaborative skills with ability to influence & work cross-functionally
  • Strong understanding of small and mid-market business needs and their accounting implications
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software is highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate technical and other findings across organizational levels to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Self-motivating, tenacious and balanced individual who brings ‘can do’ motivation
