As a senior engineer you’ll drive architectural decisions, improve developer experience, and ensure secure, reliable operations across distributed systems, with a strong emphasis on performance and scalability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with full product lifecycle ownership.
• Proven track record shipping high‑quality code on hard problems.
• Experience building internal frameworks, libraries, or developer tooling.
• Direct experience designing high‑performance backend systems in production.
• Working familiarity with infrastructure stacks like Kafka/Kubernetes.
• Solid grasp of security fundamentals for backend and cloud systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain core frameworks, libraries, and shared packages.
• Own developer experience end to end: local dev, CI/CD, tests.
• Build tooling to enforce quality without slowing teams.
• Identify bottlenecks and re-architect foundations for scale.
• Lead technical initiatives to raise code quality.
• Define and scale experimentation, monitoring, and reliability.
• Improve the core Luminai IDE for end users.
• Set defaults for access control and secrets management.
