Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive Vultr's platform automation philosophy, establishing standards for infrastructure automation, developer tooling, and self-service capabilities
• Design and evolve platform architecture, setting patterns for integration, extensibility, abstraction layers, and long-term maintainability
• Architect and deliver self-service solutions that enable engineering teams to move faster with less operational overhead
• Solve organization-wide platform challenges with systems thinking and architectural rigor
• Anticipate scaling, reliability, and usability needs before they become incidents - design forward-looking solutions, not reactive patches
• Drive platform adoption through documentation, training, and cross-team communication
• Partner with product, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure platform capabilities align with business objectives and engineering needs

Compensation

$145,000 - $160,000

Final compensation will vary depending on years of experience, background/skill set, location, and applicable laws.
