Job summary

Norton Heart & Vascular Institute, located in Louisville, Kentucky, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible vascular surgeon to join its growing team. Inpatient vascular care will be provided across Norton Healthcare’s four adult-service hospitals with optional CME opportunities and additional compensation based on quality measures.

The role includes 11 clinic locations (five in Louisville and six outreach locations) and a 1 in 6 call schedule, with a sign-on bonus and relocation

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient vascular surgery care at Norton Healthcare’s four adult-service hospitals in Louisville.
• Serve across 11 clinic locations (five in Louisville and six outreach locations).
• Participate in 1 in 6 on-call coverage.
• Collaborate with cardiology, neurology and radiology to deliver comprehensive care; participate in quality measures; sign-on bonus and relocation allowance for qualifying candidates; CME opportunities and more.

NORTON HEART & VASCULAR INSTITUTE

a part of Norton Healthcare located in Louisville, Kentucky, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible vascular surgeon to join its growing team. Our team of five board-certified and fellowship trained vascular surgeons, two advanced practice providers and two RN Navigators work closely with skilled specialists from cardiology, neurology, and radiology to evaluate and treat patients with vascular disease. This coordinated approach ensures that patients with vascular disease receive the most comprehensive and personal care.

Norton Heart & Vascular Institute’s vascular surgeons perform nearly 2,130 surgeries annually, including over 175 transcarotid artery revascularization, and endovascular aneurysm repair procedures. Norton Heart & Vascular Institute is accredited through the Vascular Quality Initiative.
