Summary of Position

Penn State Health Children’s Hospital Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine is recruiting a Pediatric Hospitalist.

Opportunity Highlights
  • Join a division of 16 faculty member physicians and 6 NP/PA’s that provides inpatient and consultation care at Penn State Health Children's Hospital.

  • As the only academic Children's Hospital in the area, we have access to a full array of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialty consultation and support.

  • Primary clinical responsibilities are at the Children’s Hospital, a tertiary referral center for a large geographic area, diverse patient populations and a wide range of medical conditions.

  • The Children's Hospital is the primary pediatric training site for Penn State College of Medicine, and there are multiple teaching opportunities as you lead a diverse team of advanced practice providers, pediatric residents, medical students, as well as many other learners throughout the institution.

  • Excellent leadership opportunities with members of the division currently or recently serving in roles such as residency program directors, associate residency program directors, unit medical directors, Vice Chair of Education.
