Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible for certification in physician's primary specialty
• Licensed Practicing Provider MD/DO
• Credentialed and willing to maintain clinical practice

Responsibilities

• Examine the health of a patient to help make proper diagnosis and prescribe medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Prescribes pharmaceuticals and treatment regimens to treat identified conditions.
• Provide care directly and indirectly by collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to formulate treatment plans.
• Timely record patient encounters in Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Request further medical evaluations and make referrals as necessary.
• Maintain professionalism and collaborate with all department members to provide high-quality patient care.
• Ensure accurate coding of all patient visits and comply with privileging/credentialing standards.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, bylaws and standards of care per regulations and accreditation.

Education
