Job summary

American Family Care (AFC) is seeking clinicians in California to provide high-quality patient care across urgent and primary care settings. This role involves directing staff on shift, supervising clinical teams, and ensuring timely charting and documentation for patient records.

The position emphasizes exceptional communication with patients, families, and staff, with requirements for active medical licensure in the state, appropriate DEA and controlled-substance credentials.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible – Emergency Room, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine (w/ER or UC experience)
• Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family
• Active and current medical licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate as required
• Ability to multi-task and work independently

Responsibilities
