Qualifications

• Must satisfy minimum U.S. Public Health Service physician qualifications.
• Board eligibility or certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or related primary care field preferred.
• Current, unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state or territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and urgent care to individuals in federal custody.
• Collaborate with facility staff and specialists to ensure quality health care.
• Supervise APPs and clinical staff when designated; participate in performance improvement.
• Renders emergency medical services as required.
• Maintain medical records and documentation; participate in committees as needed.
