Job summary

Teladoc Health is seeking a full-time Care Staff Physician to deliver high-quality virtual care across the country. This remote role involves on-demand visits via multiple modalities and collaboration with internal teams.

You’ll mentor colleagues and contribute to clinical initiatives in a technology-driven environment. Ideal candidates have active multi-state licenses or CA/TX plus another state, a valid DEA, and a strong telehealth track record.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical experience as a physician (post residency).
• Active medical license with Board Certification in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted licensure in three or more states, or CA/TX plus another state.
• Must be willing to gain additional state licenses and enroll in applicable programs.
• Must hold an active DEA and have a clean professional record.
• Telehealth experience preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR and computer-based applications.

In this role, you'll deliver comprehensive virtual care through on-demand visits through a variety of modalities to provide patients with timely, convenient care whenever and wherever they need it. Beyond direct patient care, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with internal stakeholders, support clinical initiatives, and serve as a mentor and trusted resource for fellow physicians within the Teladoc Health network. This position supports hiring 100% remote within the U.S.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical experience as a physician (post residency)
• Active Medical license required with Board Certification in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
• Candidates must meet one of the following requirements at the time of hire:
• Active, unrestricted licensure in three (3) or more states, with at least one additional state license pending ; OR
• Active, unrestricted licensure in California or Texas, plus at least one additional state (two total state licenses).
• For purposes of meeting these licensure requirements, active, unrestricted licenses in MP (Northern Mariana Islands), GU (Guam), VI (U.S. Virgin Islands), and PR (Puerto Rico) will also be accepted and counted toward the required number of licenses.
• Must be willing to gain additional state licenses
• Must be eligible for and willing to enroll in applicable state and federal healthcare programs, with no exclusions that would prevent participation.
• Previous Telehealth experience preferred.
• Must hold an active DEA
• Must have a clean professional record with no board disciplinary actions.
• Passionate regarding the delivery of high-quality medical care
• History of strong clinical performance
• Willingness to serve as an ambassador regarding the clinical importance of virtual care
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and computer-based applications
• Ability to build relationships across departments

Salary & Benefits

The base salary for this position is $143,856. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for productivity pay as well as a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc 2026 Benefits. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.

Teladoc Health follows a Flexible Vacation Policy, intended for rest, relaxation, and personal time. All time off must be approved by your manager prior to use. You will also receive 80 hours of Paid Sick, Safe, and Caregiver Leave annually. This applies to full-time positions only.
