Job summary

Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, OH is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to execute a physical therapy plan of care and facilitate rehabilitation for patients with disabilities caused by disease, injury or other conditions. You will evaluate patients, set goals, plan and document treatments, and supervise assistants in compliance with state law.

The role requires graduation from an accredited PT program, Ohio licensure, and may prefer one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Physical Therapy Program required.
• Possess a valid license to practice in the state of Ohio required.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, establishes treatment goals, plans treatments and documents evaluations and treatments in a timely manner.
• Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Attendants according to state laws and department instructions.
• Supports manager in budgeting, setting department goals, revising work instructions and improving patient satisfaction scores.
• Assists with Physical Therapy promotional activities and program development.
• Supervises and mentors volunteers and students in line with APTA guidelines.
