Job summary

Lifespan in Providence, Rhode Island is seeking a qualified MD/DO to provide high-quality patient care. Responsible for attending to patients according to recognized standards and completing necessary medical records promptly. Applicants must be licensed to practice in Rhode Island and hold relevant clinical privileges. This position requires commitment and demonstrated competence to maintain patient care quality. The role demands working 3 days a week from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with a valid unlimited license to practice medicine in the State of Rhode Island.
• Federal Narcotics DEA license required as applicable.
• Demonstrated clinical competence sufficient to provide quality care.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing patients with care at recognized quality and efficiency standards.
• Prepare and complete all required patient records in a timely manner.

Education

Summary

Responsible for providing his/her patients with care at the current level of quality and efficiency generally recognized by appropriate practice standards and guidelines applicable to facilities such as the Hospital in the physician's area of specialty. Responsible for preparing and completing in a timely fashion all medical and other required patient records.

Minimum Qualifications

• MD/DO with a valid unlimited license to practice medicine in the State of Rhode Island.
• Board certified or Board eligible as required.
• Federal Narcotics DEA license required as applicable.
• Demonstrated clinical competence and physical and mental status sufficient to demonstrate that he/she is able to provide quality care to patients.
• Clinical privileges in the physician's specialty required for hospital owned and operated practice.
