Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a Staff Pharmacist in Stephens City, VA to deliver patient-centered clinical services, including immunizations and MTM, while supporting pharmacy operations and leadership. You will lead technicians, ensure safety, and contribute to community health efforts.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Current immunization certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and dispense prescription medications in accordance with all federal, state, and company regulations.
• Counsel patients on medication therapy, adherence, side effects, and disease management.
• Administer immunizations and other pharmacist-provided clinical services.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain proper inventory levels, medication security, and controlled substance accountability.
• Oversee prescription workflow to deliver safe, efficient, and timely service.
• Work closely with store leadership to support pharmacy initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Your Role in Our Story as a Staff Pharmacist

• Practice at the top of your license by delivering patient-centered clinical services, including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM), while playing an active role in improving health outcomes beyond prescription fulfillment.
• Lead, coach, and support pharmacy technicians and associates in delivering exceptional customer service
• Help create a culture focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence
• Support pharmacy performance through prescription growth, customer engagement, and clinical services
• Promote preventive care and wellness programs that improve the health of our communities
• Champion immunizations, medication adherence, health screenings, and other patient care initiatives

Salary Range: $ 113,840.00 - $170,760.00
