Job summary

Sam's Club in Texas seeks a licensed pharmacist to provide comprehensive patient care, dispensing prescriptions, administering immunizations, and counseling members on health care and medication needs. You will maintain confidentiality and required documentation, while upholding company policies and state/federal guidelines.

You will model integrity, teamwork, and service excellence, contributing to a culture of belonging and continuous improvement in a retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD, or FPGEC (NABP) with formal licensure eligibility.
• Active Pharmacy license by job entry date.
• ACPE-accredited immunization training completion.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently to members.
• Administer immunizations and provide counseling on health care and medications.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation for controlled substances and required records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations; monitor loss prevention and safety controls.
• Model and reinforce member-service best practices; resolve member needs and issues within guidelines.

What you'll do

Provides comprehensive patient care to members by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders administering immunizations counseling members regarding health care and prescription medication needs and maintaining confidential information controlled medications and required documentation

Models enforces and provides direction and guidance to Associates on proper Member service approaches and techniques to ensure Member needs complaints and issues are successfully resolved within Company guidelines and standards

Ensures compliance with Company and legal policies procedures and regulations for assigned areas by analyzing and interpreting reports implementing and monitoring loss prevention and safety controls overseeing safety operational and quality assurance reviews developing and implementing action plans and providing direction and guidance on executing Company programs and strategic initiatives

Maintains confidential information documentation and assigned records as required by Company policies and local State and Federal guidelines

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00 - $172,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
