Job summary

Austin Community College in Brooklyn Heights is seeking a licensed pharmacist with MTM billing expertise and a strong commitment to cross-cultural patient care. The candidate should hold Ohio licensure and a current immunization delivery certificate, with BLS or eligible by hire date.

Preference is given to Pharm.D. holders and ASHP-accredited residency graduates, with the ability to obtain TDDD licensure within six months and to supervise support staff effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an Ohio Board of Pharmacy approved institution.
• Possesses a current Pharmacist License from the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
• Possesses a current Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certificate from the American Pharmacist Association (APhA), or an equivalent certification from a program recognized by the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
• Possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or obtains within 90 days of hire.
• Meets the legal requirements for a Terminal Distributor of Dangerous Drugs (TDDD) license to be the Responsible Person for an Institutional Pharmacy as issued by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.
• Obtains a TDDD license within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred: Pharmac.D. degree from a State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy approved institution.
• Completion of an American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited residency.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in time management, support staff supervision, problem identification/resolution, and decision making.

Possesses a current Pharmacist License from the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
