Job summary

CVS Health in Houston, TX is seeking a Staff Pharmacist in a part-time role to support the Pharmacy Manager and lead the Pharmacy Technician staff. You will oversee operations to ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality care.

You will participate in patient care programs, manage inventory and workflow, and contribute to financial profitability while delivering compassionate service to our patients and communities.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA).
• Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Pharmacy Technician staff and ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Oversee patient safety, quality of care and regulatory requirements.
• Manage inventory, workflow, and profitability while preventing loss.
• Provide counseling and support to patients and ensure excellent customer service.
• Implement patient care programs and drive growth and performance.

The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $60.00 - $76.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
