Job summary

Walmart Pharmacy in Franklin, KY seeks a Staff Pharmacist to deliver pharmaceutical care, counsel patients, and administer immunizations while practicing at the top of your license.

You will join a team dedicated to quality care, HIPAA/PHI compliance, and community health outreach.Responsibilities include dispensing prescriptions, advising customers, and supporting staff in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
• Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
• Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
• Counsel customers regarding healthcare and prescription medication needs.
• Administer immunizations and other Walmart programs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Model and provide guidance to the pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches.
