Job summary

Walmart recruits a licensed pharmacist to provide comprehensive patient care, accurately dispensing prescriptions, counseling customers, and maintaining confidentiality. The role supports immunization programs and Walmart’s health initiatives while upholding Board of Pharmacy standards and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited program.
• Pharmacy license in good standing by job entry date.
• Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care to customers and process prescription orders.
• Counsel customers on health care and medication needs and ensure privacy.
• Maintain compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations.
• Deliver immunizations and support Walmart health programs and quality care.
• Ensure SOP adherence, accuracy, and patient safety in daily operations.
• Contribute to compliance, loss prevention, and safety initiatives as needed.
