The Kroger Co. in Utah is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our store pharmacy team. You will dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while delivering excellent customer service.

This role may require working at multiple locations within the region, supporting immunizations, third‑party billing, and accurate record‑keeping to maintain a safe, efficient pharmacy operation.

Qualificações

• Possess a current Pharmacist license in Utah with no stipulations or Board ordered restrictions.
• Graduate of a US School of Pharmacy or have passed a foreign equivalency exam.
• Successfully passed the NAPLEX exam.
• Ability to travel independently and work at multiple locations.

Responsabilidades

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and valued by answering questions about products and prescriptions.
• Communicate effectively with customers and store personnel.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmaceutical products and supplies to competently assist patients and prescribers.
• Receive and process RX orders in compliance with state and federal laws.
• Interpret, fill/refill, label and correctly bag prescription orders.
• Evaluate RX orders for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Provide drug counseling to patients and prescribers.
• Handle third-party billing and related procedures.
• Maintain accurate RX records and inventory, including controlled substances compliance.
• Promote proper immunizations and deliver them safely.
• Engage in clinical activities within training scope.
• Stock and supervise supplies as needed.
• File prescriptions and records per regulations.
• Resolve conflicts with customers and staff in absence of manager.
• Run reports and oversee department administrative needs.
