Qualifications

• Certification as an immunizer.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation services to patients about medication use and drug interactions.
• Administer preventive healthcare measures such as immunizations.
• Supervise accurate compounding and dispensing of prescriptions following regulatory standards and company protocols.
• Assist in streamlining pharmacy operations to improve financial performance, inventory management, and customer satisfaction.
• Support enhanced customer experience through healthcare services including consultations, medication management, drug therapy reviews, immunizations, flu shots, and diabetes awareness.
• Supervise pharmacy intern interactions.
• Foster staff relations, encourage teamwork, set expectations, monitor progress, and address conflicts promptly.
• Keep current with pharmacy-related information technology.
• Ensure accurate processing of insurance claims and follow up with insurers and providers promptly.
• Collaborate with management to create and execute strategies to improve pharmacy profitability.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.

Job Overview

We are seeking a retail pharmacy professional to work approximately 20–25 hours per week, split across 2–2.5 days. A typical schedule could include Monday and Tuesday one week, and Thursday, Friday, and 4 hours on Saturday (9 am–1 pm) the following week.
