RRC Solutions Group is assisting a Cedar Rapids-based long-term care pharmacy in its search for a Staff Pharmacist to join a dedicated team. This role focuses on patient care within a closed-door setting, with opportunities to collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, Iowa licensure, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Competenze

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Active Iowa pharmacist license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, self-motivated professional with a commitment to exceptional patient care.
• Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred, but not required!

Mansioni

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the accurate and timely dispensing of medications to long-term care facilities.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication questions and provide clinical guidance.
• Participate in IV and TPN preparation.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Help maintain high standards of quality, safety, and patient care.
