Job summary
CVS Health Corporation in Derby, CT is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to play a critical role at the forefront of patient care. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, supervise Pharmacy Support Staff, and ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and service excellence.
You will lead with heart, mentor staff, identify opportunities to improve care, and drive efficient pharmacy operations within a community health setting.
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- No pending felony charges or convictions involving controlled substances.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
Responsibilities
- Lead with Heart—display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers and colleagues on your team.
- Support the Pharmacy Manager in directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
- Oversee management, oversight and operation of all aspects within the pharmacy, including patient safety, regulatory requirements and quality assurance.
- Identify business opportunities and contribute to solutions to drive growth and improve performance in the pharmacy.
- Adapt to change and lead the team to achieve goals in a dynamic community healthcare setting.
