Job summary

CVS Health in Wheeling, WV is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations, support staff, and ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance. You will oversee patient care programs, manage inventory and workflow, and drive quality and profitability in a fast-paced community setting.

You will supervise Pharmacy Technicians, implement patient care initiatives, and collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to deliver exceptional health services to our patients.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy License in the state you are employed
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g. APhA)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
• Free of pending felony charges or convictions involving controlled substances

Responsibilities

• Lead with Heart and support staff to provide compassionate patient care
• Oversee pharmacy operations including safety, quality, regulatory compliance and customer service
• Manage inventory, workflow, and profitability while ensuring loss prevention
