Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Staff Pharmacist in Madison, OH to provide pharmaceutical care, counsel patients, and administer immunizations while upholding HIPAA and regulatory standards. The role emphasizes patient engagement and community health outreach within a fast-paced Walmart Pharmacy environment.

As part of Walmart Pharmacy, you will leverage clinical knowledge to the top of your license, collaborate with team members, and deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree and NABP qualification.
• Current pharmacist license by job entry date.
• Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
• Counsel customers regarding healthcare and prescription medication needs.
• Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Model and provide guidance to the pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
