Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a hospital in Las Vegas, NM to hire a Staff Pharmacist who will provide safe, high-quality pharmaceutical care and support medication management across the hospital. This role suits pharmacists who work well independently, collaborate with healthcare teams, and aim to directly impact patient safety and outcomes.

Schedule is full-time and on-site, with competitive compensation and benefits. We’re seeking candidates with a Pharm.D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medication procurement, storage, preparation, transcription, and distribution.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians.
• Monitor medication therapy according to established protocols and clinical monitoring programs.
• Provide drug information and guidance to healthcare providers and patients.
• Promote medication safety and appropriate pharmaceutical care.
• Identify opportunities to improve pharmacy services and participate in special projects.
• Ensure pharmacy operations comply with established policies and procedures.
