Job summary

Job description

Role Overview:

A Staff Pharmacist provides patient-centered care, builds relationships, and advocates for community wellness. They are responsible for counseling patients, accurately processing prescriptions, administering immunizations, and supporting health programs. The role emphasizes delivering quality care, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a culture of safety and integrity.

  • Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with diverse patients, manage inventory, control costs, and provide guidance to pharmacy staff. Ensure adherence to legal and company policies, handle confidential information, and promote safety and quality assurance initiatives. Support compliance with billing, HIPAA, and SOPs, and engage in outreach activities like Wellness Days.
  • Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s or PharmD degree, valid pharmacy license, and completion of immunization training. Demonstrates clinical expertise, accuracy, strong communication, leadership, and a commitment to ethical practices. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively.
