Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA seeks a Staff Pharmacist Floater to cover PTO, with full-time evening/day/night/weekend shifts. This is a hospital setting with rotating holiday schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy with a Bachelor's or higher in Pharmacy is required.
• Licensed as a registered pharmacist in Georgia is required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Distributes, documents and compounds drugs, solutions and equipment to meet patient and staff needs.
• Reviews, compounds, dispenses and monitors medication therapy for all ages.
• Supervises pharmacy technicians and ensures competency and self-development.
• Performs patient-focused clinical activities to optimize medication therapy.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy
