Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company – Express Scripts Pharmacy in Fairfield, OH is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for onsite 2nd shift responsibilities, including supervising technicians and ensuring medication accuracy.

You will verify prescriptions, mentor staff, and train less experienced pharmacists, with a focus on quality, production, and service levels. Requires ACPE-accredited degree and active license, plus ability to work flexibly and stand for long periods.

This position is worksite dependent and can only be performed onsite at our Fairfield, OH location. This is for 2nd shift: (4) 10-hour shifts Monday - Thursday 2:30 pm -1 am.

As a Staff Pharmacist with Express Scripts Pharmacy, you will be responsible for verifying and dispensing medications within corporate and regulatory guidelines. In addition, maintain daily production, quality and service levels, vary work priorities and activities to accommodate business needs.

The Staff Pharmacist may also train less experienced pharmacists.

What you will do:

Provide oversight and quality assurance to pharmacy technicians.
Interpret physicians’ or prescribers’ prescriptions.
Perform verification on all medications leaving the pharmacy to ensure correct patient, medication, quantity, and supplies prior to final verification.

What you will need to do the job:

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 54 - 91 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
