Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with emphasis on accuracy.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with local, state and federal laws including HIPAA.
• Maintain professional image and adhere to company dress standards.
• Achieve knowledge of the trade area, customers and competition.
• Create a positive pharmacy image through service and cooperation with customers and vendors.
• Monitor stock, inventory, policies, record keeping, security and schedules to meet business needs.
• Maintain records, inventory, and security on all scheduled drugs (controlled substances).
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from authorized sources.
• Ensure accuracy tools and audit reports are utilized appropriately.
• Maintain signage and keep a clean, sanitary, organized work area.
• Ensure timely handling of product returns per policy.
