Job summary

Wal-Mart Stores East, LP in Florence, KY is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide comprehensive patient care, accurately dispensing prescriptions and counseling customers on medications and immunizations.

You will ensure compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes, maintain confidentiality, and participate in safety, quality, and HIPAA procedures while supporting corporate initiatives and a culture of integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
• Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
• Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).

Responsibilities

• Processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders and counseling customers.
• Administering immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart in compliance with statutes.
• Provide expert guidance to associates on patient care quality and safety and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, company policies, and regulations, and support loss prevention and safety reviews.
