Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Staff Pharmacist in Grand Rapids, MI to deliver pharmaceutical care and counsel customers. You will dispense prescriptions, administer immunizations, and ensure adherence to all regulatory and company guidelines.

You will work to the top of your license, engaging with patients to support their health and wellbeing while participating in community outreach and Walmart programs. A valid pharmacist license and ACPE immunization training are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD or NABP-equivalent
• Active Pharmacy license by job entry date
• Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care, process and dispense prescriptions accurately.
• Counsel customers regarding healthcare needs and medications.
• Administer immunizations and participate in Walmart programs.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.
• Model and guide pharmacy staff on customer service.
