Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and verifies medication orders for dose, route, frequency and indication.
• Dispenses medications per policies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepares and labels unit dose meds, IV admixtures, and controlled substances.
• Monitors patient medication profiles for interactions and allergies.
• Provides drug information to physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensures sterile compounding practices per USP guidelines and maintains cleanroom equipment.
