Job summary

CVS Health Staff Pharmacist position in a retail environment requires a strong patient‑focused approach, clinical accuracy, and a commitment to safety and quality in dispensing and counseling.

You will support the Pharmacy Manager, oversee pharmacy operations during shifts, and help ensure regulatory compliance while delivering immunizations and excellent patient care at the CVS Health store.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing services to patients.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and manage daily pharmacy operations when needed.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and company policies.
• Maintain inventory controls and protect cold chain products.
• Assist in resolving insurance and prescription issues to improve patient experience.
