Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking a full-time staff pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations, train and mentor technicians, and ensure accurate, high-quality dispensing across the Revelation Pharma network in Washington.

The role emphasizes leadership in department workflow, adherence to USP 795 and 800, and collaboration with patients and providers to discuss compounded and traditional medications, while maintaining strict confidentiality and service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Licensed pharmacist in the state where applying.
  • Leadership skill and ability to manage staff effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent customer services and strong phone skills.
  • Organized, high-integrity with attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in compounding per USP 795/800 and good pharmacy practices.

Responsibilities

  • Directs and oversees the operations of pharmacy and pharmacy technicians in their applicable department.
  • Train, develop, and monitor staff in specific department.
  • Understand compounding techniques outlined in USP 795 and 800.
  • Processing of prescriptions using pharmacy software.
  • Consultation with patients and providers regarding compounded and traditional medications.
  • Inventory control and supply management to equip technicians for uninterrupted tasks.
  • Other duties as designated.
  • Staff pharmacists report to the Pharmacist in Charge.

Job description

This is a full-time (salary) role that includes float responsibilities and may require providing PRN pharmacist coverage at other Revelation Pharma network pharmacies throughout Washington as needed.

Job Summary

The primary purpose of the staff pharmacist is to train, develop, and monitor pharmacy technicians while ensuring pharmaceutical products are delivered with exceptional accuracy and quality. A thorough understanding of USP 795 and 800 is essential when determining the quality of pharmacy products. Effective leadership and department work‑flow management optimize technician productivity.

Job Activities and Responsibilities
  • Directs and oversees the operations of pharmacy and pharmacy technicians in their applicable department
  • Train, develop, and monitor staff in specific department
  • Understand compounding techniques outlined in USP 795 and 800
  • Processing of prescriptions using pharmacy software
  • Consultation with patients and providers regarding our compounded medications as well as traditional medications.
  • Inventory control and supply management equip technicians to perform their tasks without interruption.
  • Other duties as designated
  • Staff pharmacists report directly to the Pharmacist in Charge.
Qualifications
  • Licensed pharmacist in the state in which you are applying.
  • Leadership skill and ability to manage staff effectively and efficiently
  • Excellent customer services skills and a genuine desire to serve clients, organization and strong phone skills
  • Organized, high‑integrity, attention to detail, dependable, quality focus, empathetic, good listener/communicator
  • Energetic, highly motivated, team player with strong personal and communication skills; discretion and confidentiality essential as position deals with highly sensitive and private data
  • Compounding preparations of acceptable quality, strength, and purity with appropriate packaging and labeling regarding good pharmacy practices, state regulations, PCAB standards, and current scientific applications
  • Other duties, responsibilities and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.
Physical Requirements
  • Proficient in using a computer and related equipment, including printers and fax machines.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Effective communication skills via telephone and email.
  • Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds as needed.
  • 20/20 vision (with or without corrective aids) required for visual inspection of drug products, in accordance with legal requirements
