CAPS (Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.), part of the B. Braun Group in the U.S., seeks a Staff Pharmacist in New Jersey to prepare compounded sterile products under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy.

The role may involve supervising IV technicians, interns and other support personnel. Responsibilities include adherence to policies, accurate admixing per CAPS SOPs, regulatory compliance, order review, on-call coverage, and participation in quality improvement initiatives to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or PharmD required.
• 4+ years related experience required.
• Valid New Jersey Pharmacist license issued by State Board of Pharmacy.
• Ability to work non-standard schedule and on-call hours as needed.
• Schedule: 9:30am-6pm, Monday-Friday with alternating weekends. Holidays/overtime as needed.
• Salary range is $127,253.37 - $142,497.06.

• Participates in CAPS Continuous Quality Improvement and performs Quality Control functions as assigned.
• Assists in successful pharmacy operation: troubleshooting equipment problems, ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.
• Maintains positive customer relationships.
• May supervise IV Technicians and interns; reviews work for accuracy and compliance with CAPS SOPs.

Position Summary

Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for the preparation compounded sterile products using and related activities under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy. Assists in the supervision of IV technicians, interns and other support personnel.

Responsibilities

• Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique and CAPS Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensures pharmacy compliance with rules and regulations of the State Board of Pharmacy and other regulating agencies.
• Reviews orders and prescriptions for admixing and dispensing.
• Resolves order discrepancies and problems with customer pharmacy personnel. Provides after hour On Call coverage as needed.
• Participates in CAPS Continuous Quality Improvement Program and performs Quality Control functions as assigned.

Qualifications - Education/Experience/Training/Etc

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or PharmD required.
• 4+ years related experience required.
• Applicable industry/professional certification required, Valid New Jersey Pharmacist license issue by Pharmacy state board
• Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed, On-call hours as needed
• Schedule: (9:30am-6pm) Monday-Friday plus alternating weekends. Holidays/overtime as needed
• Salary range is $127,253.37 - $142,497.06
