EVERSANA in Missouri is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to deliver daily patient care, process prescriptions, inspect drugs before shipment, and counsel patients on pharmacotherapy.
You will monitor patient adherence, perform drug use reviews, and educate and supervise technicians while ensuring REMS compliance and maintaining strong relationships with patients and prescribers.

The Staff Pharmacistis responsible fordaily patient care including processing prescriptions, inspecting completed prescriptions prior to shipment, patientcounselingand prospective and concurrent Drug Use Review. Additionally, the Staff Pharmacist monitors patient adherence to the medication regimen and regularly assesses the impact of prescribed therapy.
ESSENTIALDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES:

Patient care and education including comprehensive patient counseling.
Medication therapy evaluation and drug use review, including reporting adverse drug events.
Routine patient touches to review and document adherence (compliance) and persistence and to assess the impact of prescribed therapy.
Process and verify patient prescriptions.
Counsel patients to prepare and to motivate adherence to pharmacotherapeutic regimens.
Evaluate drug use including prospective and concurrent drug use review.
Evaluate lab values and clinically available patient history including concomitant medications, allergies, and disease states.
Educate,coachand supervise pharmacy technicians.
Monitor REMS adherence and documentation standards asrequired.
Manage patient adverse events including reporting and reconciliation.
Resolve and document allafterhoursinquiries from patients and prescribers including occasional emergency dispensing and shipping.
Establish andmaintainpositive relationships and promote satisfaction with coworkers,patientsand clients.

MINIMUMKNOWLEDGE,SKILLSANDABILITIES:

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
Two years pharmacy practice experience
Current,unrestrictedand undisciplined Missouri pharmacist license
Microsoft Office competent, basic phone system operation
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:
PharmD
Fiveyearspharmacy practice with an emphasisinspecialty pharmacy or home infusion.
Management and/or Pharmacist in Charge experience helpful.
Experience with multiple Patient Management and Dispensingsystems
