Job description

Staff People Analytics Business Data Analyst

Overview

We are seeking an experienced People Analytics Lead to join our People Data & Analytics team at Intuit. Our team partners closely with Intuit’s HR leaders, COEs, and business partners to deliver data-driven insights that shape our people strategies and elevate decision-making across the company. This role will lead the data and analytics strategy for Intuit’s global performance and promotion programs, spaces that are foundational to how we assess, recognize, and grow our talent. The analyst will partner with HR and business leaders to design, measure, and evolve processes that support Intuit’s long‑term performance culture. At Intuit we are actively re‑evaluating our technology that supports the performance and promotion processes, and this person will play a critical role in evaluation and execution of these transitions, ensuring data integrity, governance, and usability. In addition, this person will bring analytical rigor to upcoming Mid‑Year Performance and Promotion cycle events, providing insights that enable both employee experience and business outcomes. This role is critical to supporting Intuit’s ongoing transformation of its talent management ecosystem — ensuring that our performance and promotion processes are scalable, insight‑driven, and aligned to our mission of powering prosperity for our people and the company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross‑functional analytics initiatives across Intuit’s global performance and promotion programs, ensuring data and insights drive equitable, consistent, and high‑impact talent decisions.

  • Partner with HR COEs, business partners, and technology teams to design and implement metrics, dashboards, and reporting that measure program effectiveness and guide continuous improvement.

  • Drive the data and analytics strategy for HR Tech implementations with a customer‑backed approach, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility throughout the transition.

  • Develop and maintain scalable analytics solutions that enable real‑time visibility into performance and promotion processes, surfacing insights that improve employee experience and operational excellence.

  • Establish and uphold data governance standards across performance and promotion data domains, ensuring consistency, security, and compliance with enterprise data policies.

  • Provide deep analytical support for key talent events — including Mid‑Year and Year‑End performance cycles — delivering insights to inform calibration, promotion, and talent planning discussions.

  • Collaborate with HR technology, data engineering, and analytics teams to evolve our data infrastructure and ensure performance and promotion analytics align with enterprise platforms and priorities.

  • Translate complex analytics into clear narratives and recommendations that influence senior leaders and drive strategic decision‑making across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in people analytics, HR analytics, or related data strategy roles.

  • Demonstrated expertise in building and interpreting people metrics, dashboards, and reporting that drive strategic decisions.

  • Proven experience leading cross‑functional analytics initiatives involving multiple stakeholders (HR, technology, and business).

  • Strong technical proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Quick Sight, Qlik Sense, or similar) and data querying languages (python or similar).

  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and recommendations for senior leaders.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity, governance, and storytelling.

  • Experience working with Workday or other performance and goal management systems.

  • Familiarity with HR data architecture, system integrations, and migrations between HR platforms.

  • Knowledge of promotion and performance processes (e.g., calibration, ratings, or talent review cycles).

  • Exposure to data governance frameworks or experience establishing data quality standards.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a consultative approach to influencing decisions.

  • Passion for enabling data‑driven, equitable people processes that foster growth and inclusion.
