Job summary

UNC Health’s Lenoir Health Care is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to provide patient assessment and treatment, develop programs, and lead teams as assigned. You will mentor Therapists, Assistants, Technicians, and Students while collaborating with physicians to deliver high-quality care.

This per diem, onsite role supports the Occupational Therapy unit, with day shifts and a 4-hour weekly schedule. Applicants should hold an accredited OT degree and a current NC OT license, and be

Summary

• The Staff Occupational Therapist provides patient care assessment and treatment, program development, and team leadership when assigned. Responsible for mentoring Therapists, Assistants, Technicians, and Students. Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy programs in hospital settings to help rehabilitate those impaired because of illness, injury or psychological or developmental problems. Collaborates with other healthcare team members and physicians in a multi-disciplinary fashion to deliver the highest quality of care. Participates in CQI activities. Facilitates the provision of excellent customer service
