Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care Float Pool at University Hospital. You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with the care team and support patient and family needs in a fast-paced unit.

Minimum qualifications include an accredited nursing degree and an active Ohio license; Bachelor's degree preferred. This is a regular full-time position located in University Hospital, Doan Hall, with rotating shifts and a 36-hour

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide care to the patient and family, and direct and supervise nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team.
• Assess, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.
