Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team full-time, night shift, at our Seminole, FL facility. You will provide crucial nursing support to patients undergoing treatment for substance use disorders and mental health conditions with emphasis on compassionate, compliant care.

This role offers 12-hour shifts, opportunities for CEUs, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team focused on trauma-informed SUD

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in Florida is required.
• Nursing degree/diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
• Strong assessment and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care at various levels of care.
• Identify treatment needs and integrate findings into collaborative, measurable treatment plans.
• Complete nursing documentation in accordance with facility and state requirements.
• Review medication logs and assist the medical department with a variety of tasks.
• Administer medications as directed by the medical provider.
• Facilitate medication education for patients.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and referral sources on progress updates and post-discharge planning.
• Apply clinical judgment in crisis situations, including risk assessments and de-escalation.
• Build rapport and trust with patients through strong interpersonal skills.

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered or Practical Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our nursing team full-time, nightshift, at our facility in Seminole, FL.

Staff Nurse, you will:
