Job summary

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure in Georgia, and Basic Life Support. Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and some hospital experience is desirable but not strictly required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing is required.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients across the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Maintains standards of practice and supports professional growth and accountability.
• Coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff to deliver quality nursing care.
