Job summary

The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute seeks a Staff Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit to provide patient- and family-centered care, coordinate nursing actions, and ensure safety and quality under the professional practice model.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, supervise team members, and collaborate with oncology, transfusion, and orthopedic services in a 36-bed unit located at James Cancer

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate nursing care in alignment with the professional practice model.
• Manage and provide care to patients and families and direct supervision of other care team members.
• Ensure patient safety, quality and cost-effective care throughout the nursing process.
