• Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate the nursing regimen for assigned patients/clients.
• Record and maintain nursing care plans and progress notes on patients/clients.
• Interpret and report responses of patients/clients to appropriate members of the health team.
• Participate with interdisciplinary health team members to plan a comprehensive patient care program.
• Determine and assign components of the nursing regimen for allied nursing personnel.
• Provide teaching, guidance, and direction to allied nursing personnel in patient care.
• Participate in defining, implementing, maintaining, and interpreting standards of nursing practice.
• Participate in departmental and interdisciplinary conferences regarding nursing practice.
• Maintain professional competence through participation in continuing education.

About This Role

The Staff Nurse in Hemodialysis provides professional nursing care to patients within the renal dialysis unit, focusing on diagnosing and treating health problems through various nursing methods and techniques.

• Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift (7:30 A.M – 6:00 P.M), Alternating Weekends

What You'll Do

Requirements

Experience:

• Experience as a Staff Nurse preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current RN License in New York State.

Additional Compensation

• Annual education differential for degrees in nursing or allied health disciplines.
• Annual certification differential ranging from $1,878 up to $4,878 for nationally recognized certifications.
• Annual nursing experience differential ranging from $987 up to $8,190 for up to 10 years of experience.
